The Eastern Shore’s Congressional seat is reportedly being targeted by the Democratic leadership in the House of Representatives.
According to Politico, House Majority PAC, the main super PAC supporting House Democrats, is significantly increasing its ad spending to target Republican-held districts. They are investing an additional $3 million in two competitive races: $2.3 million in Iowa’s 1st District to support Democrat Christina Bohannon against GOP Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks, and $582,000 in Virginia’s 2nd District to back Democrat Missy Cotter Smasal against GOP Rep. Jen Kiggans.
This move aims to put pressure on these challenging districts. The PAC’s total ad spending, including future reservations, now approaches $213 million.
