High Speed Chase

At approximately 1 p.m. Monday police from several agencies engaged in a high speed chase on Route 13. 

The vehicle was traveling at speeds approaching 120 mph.  The vehicle proceeded south on Rt 13 with officers in pursuit. The vehicle then ran through the toll gates at the Bridge Tunnel crossing the span.   Unofficial reports are that the chase ended in Virginia Beach.
