Go Fund Me Donations Requested for Northampton Murder Victim

Donations are requested through a GoFundMe page to help pay for the funeral of a local woman who was shot to death earlier this month in Northampton County.

Rebecca Knox, the victim, died from multiple gunshot wounds on Monday, July 13. Donations can be made at www.gofundme.com/f/support-for-my-sisters-funeral-expenses-964xs.

Samantha Knox, of Eolia, Kentucky, set up the page.

“This is a heartbreaking time for my family, as we try to cover funeral expenses after my sister was tragically taken from us,” Samantha Knox wrote. “She was only 38 and leaves behind two young boys who need her love and support. We’re grateful for the support so far—thanks to everyone who has helped us reach over half of our goal. Every donation or share helps us get closer to bringing her home with her family.
