A fire heavily damaged a home in Mearsville Wednesday night.
Units from Bloxom, Parksley, Atlantic, Saxis and New Church responded to a all at approximately 8:44 pm. Upon arrival fire fighters found the residential structure fully involved.
Callers reported that there were explosions occurring in the house possibly attributed to ammunition stored there.
We will have more information as we receive it.
