Fire Destroys Nandua Bay Home

A fire destroyed a residence at Nandua Bay Saturday night.   Several fire companies responded to the call which came in at approximately 9:00 p.m.  The residence was fully involved.  Unofficial reports say that the occupants of the dwelling were not home at the time. Units from Melfa, Painter, Wachapreague, Onancock, Nassawadox, Tasley,  Parksley and Bloxom plus DPS as well as other companies that moved forward to cover for stations on the call.  The house was completely destroyed. No injuries were reported.
