Exmore Rotary awards donations for 2026

The Exmore Rotary Club recently awarded $18,250 in donations to 19 local nonprofit organizations.

The donations were distributed to groups serving communities across the Eastern Shore, including Camp Occohannock on the Bay, the Eastern Shore Coalition Against Domestic Violence, the Community Fire Company of Exmore, the Eastern Shore Library Foundation for Northampton Free Library, Eastern Shore’s Own Art Center, the Foodbank of the Eastern Shore, Habitat for Humanity, Lighthouse Ministries, Northampton Volunteer Fire Company, and Painter Volunteer Fire Company.

Additional recipients included Dogs Deserve Better, Northern Accomack Community Cats, Eastern Shore Colts Pop Warner Football, Randy Custis Memorial Park, the Eastern Shore SPCA, the Northampton County YMCA, the Eastern Shore Family YMCA, YMCA Camp Silver Beach, and the Barrier Islands Center.

The Exmore Rotary Club raises money for its annual donations through the Soule Arnold Oyster and Clam Steam.
