The Eastern Shore of Virginia Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Cape Charles Main Street, is set to host a town-wide ribbon-cutting celebration on Thursday, October 24, starting at noon. The festivities will kick off at Strawberry Street Plaza and will include a series of ribbon-cutting ceremonies at various local businesses, highlighting the vibrant community spirit of Cape Charles.

Participants can visit multiple locations, including SIC Clinic, Pane E Vino, Mason Ave Bakery, Schneider Construction, North Street Market, Parr Properties, Ellen Moore Gallery, Love & Canne, and Localish Art. Each venue will celebrate its contributions to the local economy with individual ceremonies.

The event will also welcome notable guests, including Delegate Rob Bloxom, Senator Bill DeSteph, and Congresswoman Jenn Kiggans, emphasizing the importance of supporting local enterprises and the positive effects of community collaboration.

“This event is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate our thriving local businesses and the strong sense of community that defines Cape Charles,” said Robert Sabbatini, Executive Director of the Eastern Shore of Virginia Chamber of Commerce. “We are excited to bring together business owners, community members, and distinguished guests for a day of celebration and support.”
