
Residents are invited to participate in the Community Emergency Preparedness Day this Saturday, September 28, from 10 AM to 2 PM at Four Corners Plaza. This event coincides with National Emergency Preparedness Month, highlighting the importance of readiness in the face of emergencies.
Local agencies including Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital, Eastern Shore Rural Health, ANEC, Northampton and Accomack County Emergency Management, and ESVA 911 Communications Center will be on-site showcasing essential equipment and resources.
In addition to valuable information, the Eastern Shore Health District will be offering free flu vaccines for individuals aged 18 and over. Attendees can also look forward to free giveaways throughout the day.
