Eastern Shore experiences an internet outage Wednesday

Several areas of the Eastern Shore experienced an internet outage on Wednesday which lasted for several hours.

Reports are that a fiber optic cable break out of the area was the cause of the  problem.

The break was repaired early Thursday morning. Most if not all service has been restored to those affected.
