Eastern Shore 911 experiencing issues

The Eastern Shore of Virginia 911 Center is experiencing issues which may affect residents who need to call 911.

The 911 Center says due to an intermittent issue with Verizon Network Equipment, some 911 callers may not be able to reach 911 using cell or landline phones during brief intermittent periods.

If you cannot reach 911, you can call the dispatch directly at 757-387-9508.
