Early voting off to a strong start

Early voting began Friday and  voter registrars in both counties were very busy. 

Accomack reported that as of closing time Friday 396 people voted early.  Northampton reported 203 early voters on Friday.   

Early voting will continue until November 2 at each registrar’s office during regular business hours with Saturday voting on October 26 and November 2.  The last day to register to vote is Tuesday October 15.

Both parties have called on their supporters to vote early. Senator Tim Kaine visited the Eastern Shore to encourage Democrats to get out and vote and the local Republican party and Governor Youngkin are urging their members to vote early as well.
