DeSteph to Host Annual Flags Across the District Event

In a show of patriotism and community spirit, State Senator Bill DeSteph (R-Virginia Beach) will host his annual Flags Across the District event this Saturday, June 28, 2025, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at his district office in Virginia Beach.

The event, a longstanding tradition in the lead-up to Independence Day, will feature the distribution of 10,000 American flags throughout neighborhoods in the 20th Senate District. With help from volunteers, supporters, and local civic organizations, participants will spread out across the district to plant the flags as a tribute to the nation and a symbol of unity.

The event is free and open to the public.
