Cool Things Happening this Weekend on the Eastern Shore

Today is the annual Island House Oyster Roast to benefit the Navy SEAL Foundation in Wachapreague. The event is sold out.

The Andrews Chapel United Methodist Church will have its annual bazaar Saturday beginning at 11 a.m. There will be a bake table, chicken salad, macaroni salad,  jam, pickles, pepper relish, soups and more. Shoppers will find a clothes room, children’s clothes and toys, a Christmas room, furniture, kitchenware, glassware and linens.

There will be a color run/walk in Cape Charles.  Registration begins at 1pm and the run starts at 2 pm. This event will support trhe Northampoton High School wrestling team and Karen Paglia’s fight against cancer.   $10 for adults and $5 for children.

Sunday

The Temperanceville Masonic Lodge will have a Fried Chicken Dinner at the lodge from 12:30 pm until 4 p.m.

Bojangles Chicken Sandwiches

Onancock International Films will feature Coco at the Roseland Theatre at 2:30 pm. This is a free film and this includes a free popcorn/soda combo.

The New Allen Memorial AME Church Senior Ushers are celebrating their anniversary by featuring the Resurrection Gospel Singers  at 3:00 pm

Burtons Chapel at 21440 Burtons Church Road in Melfa will host an Annual States of God Service at 4 pm. The guest pastor will be Elder Diane Jones of the New Life Church of Deliverance Center in Princess Anne , Md.  The Lilliston and Sabitino Familes are the sponsors.

Walk with a Doc will begin at Market St. United Methodist Church at 4 pm.
