Cool things happening on the Shore this weekend

Saturday

The Onancock Bay Challenge is underway. It is sponsored by the Onancock Anglers Club. The home base is the Onancock Wharf. It will be an all day event.

The annual Harborton Yard Sale will take place at the Harborton Boat Ramp starting at 8 a.m.

The Edward Jones Alzheimer’s Association Walk to end Alzheimer’s will get underway at 8 a.m. at Commonwealth Senior Living in Onancock also known as the Hermitage.

Nature lovers will enjoy the Migratory bird Walk with the Nature Conservancy at the Conservancy’s Brownsville Preserve.

The Town of Onley will be holding their annual Yard Sale getting underway at 8:00 am.

The Woman’s Club annual indoor Fall Yard Sale will be held from 8 until 1 pm at the Womens Club in Onley.

There will be a yard sale and Chicken Salad Fundraiser at Pungoteague Community Church.

There will be a yard sale at Blue Crow Antique Mall in Painter starting at 8 a.m.

Up on Chincoteague the annual Oyster Festival will take at Toms Cove Park.

It will be Family and Friends Day at Refuge Temple Outreach Ministry starting at 3 p.m.

The Exmore Rotary’s Annual Soule Arnold Oyster Roast and Clam Steam will be getting underway at Exmore Town Park at 4 p.m.

Painter Garrison’s Chicken Salad Sale will run from 4-5:30 pm. at Painter Garrison’s Chiurch in Painter. 4pm til 5:30 pm.

Sunday

The Annual Teddy R. Crockett Memorial Fundraiser for Foster Children will get underway at the Onancock Elks Lodge, Front St . in Accomac at 11:30 a.m.

Metropolitan United Methodist Church will have their Annual Homecoming @ 3p.m. Rev. David Sabintano is our Guest Speaker.

The Northampton County Historical Society will have a Lecture on the Lawn at Chatham in Church Neck starting at 2:00 pm.
