The Eastern Shore Cruisers exciting Car and Truck Show will be coming to Hart’s Garage across from Perdue on Saturday, May 24 from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM. Come see a wide variety of restored cars and trucks. There will be trophies for Best in Show and Top 3 in each class. Food vendors will be on site. Hart’s will have discount coupons for vehicle services.

Parksley Volunteer Fire Company’s Memorial Day Chicken Sale.

The Parksley Volunteer Fire Company will be having its Memorial Day Chicken Sale Friday, Saturday and Memorial Day Monday beginning at 10:00 AM.

1/2 Chicken, Baked beans, Potato Salad, Roll and Drink OR Pulled pork sandwich, Bake beans, Coleslaw and Drink.

Big Event at Glorious Church of Jesus Christ

Big Event at the Glorious Church of Jesus Christ located at 16 Boundary Ave., Onancock,  Va. on May 24, 2025.  We are expecting visitors and Pastors from Florida, Baltimore, Newport News and more.  Service will be outside under a large tent.  Food will be served after you hear the word of God.  It all starts at 11 AM Saturday, May 24th.  Come hear the truth of God and enjoy a great meal.  All are invited to Fellowship Day!

The BIC’s Art & Music on the Farm festival offers fine art and treasures from local artists and artisans and traditional roots music played by celebrated musicians from across Virginia, all in an inviting, family-friendly setting. Whether you prefer to sip wine, peruse the eye-catching art, delve into the history of Virginia musical styles, watch your child have fun with an art activity, plan a fun summer garden, or eat some tasty food, you will find something to tickle your fancy.

Everyone will revel in the toe-tapping, hand-clapping sounds of gospel, folk, and bluegrass from this year’s line-up of highly acclaimed bands. And don’t forget the intimate workshops with the performers hosted by music historian Gregg Kimball.

In addition to the music, the Farm is filled with some of the finest art in the region: over 30 artists and artisans will have their paintings, plants, and crafts for sale. Food and beverages (including local wine, beer, soft drinks, and iced coffee) are available for purchase. Children can participate in a fun, free art activity.

Parksley’s Memorial Day Celebration

The Town of Parksley would like to invite everyone to their annual Memorial Day Celebration, on Monday, May 26 at 10:00 AM at the Jerry Burkhead War Memorial, located in the Parksley Town Square.

Please take a few minutes to come honor the memory of those service members who laid down their lives so that we can continue to enjoy the freedoms we have because of their sacrifice.
