This is your only chance to get STEAMED CRABS at a restaurant in Cape Charles, and we’re making it happen just for this special event! You asked, we provided! For only $50, feast on all-you-can-eat crabs and more, plus a drink ticket. A portion of the proceeds supports the Northampton County Girls Basketball Program. VIMS to Host Marine Life Day

Due to coastal flooding predictions and current conditions, the time of Marine Life Day at VIMS Eastern Shore Lab in Wachapreague today has been shifted to 2-5PM. We apologize for any inconveniences this may cause, but encourage you to still attend this exciting event!

Come out and experience a fun and educational day exploring marine life found on Virginia’s Eastern Shore! The event will showcase marine science research being conducted at ESL and in our local waters, and will highlight work that appeals to visitors of all ages and localities. Guests will have the opportunity to interact with a variety of marine organisms in touch tanks and live displays, study creatures under microscopes, learn about marine science through activities and crafts, and discuss current research projects with scientists from various fields of study.
