8th Annual Croaker Classic

The 8th Annual Onancock Volunteer Fire Department Croaker Classic is still on for Saturday, August 10th.  Here are a few changes:

Registration opens at 10 AM Saturday and fishing starts at noon.  When you arrive, you’ll be direct to the table assigned by sponsorship to pick up your bucket and shirts.  If you’d like to extend your time out and have a good time with friends and locals, Mallards at the Wharf strongly encourage everyone to make reservations early.  Mallards has amazing food, fun atmosphere and they don’t want you to miss out because they are full.  The Onancock Vol. Fire Dept. would like to thank everyone for your patience while we evaluated the impacts of Debbie and YOUR Croaker Tournament. We feel confident we can make this work and be safe for all anglers and volunteers.  After tournament activities a band will be at Mallard’s for your enjoyment.

Car Wash

Lone Star Masonic Lodge #2  will be having a Car Wash Saturday, August 10th from 9 AM until 3 PM at Hardees, 25048 Lankford Highway in Onley.  They are asking for a $10.00 donation.

SHORTERS CHAPEL WILL HAVE AN AFTERNOON OF GOSPEL MUSIC FEATURING THE GOSPEL INSPIRATIONS, THE HALLELUJAH SINGERS, VENDELL HARRIS, SYLVIA HARMON, GLENDORIA KELLAM AND OTHER MUSICIANS ..THIS EVENT IS SPONSORED BY RONNIE KELLAM, WILLIE CHURCH, FRANCINE CHURCH AND MANDY GIDDENS.

ALL ARE WELCOME.  THERE WILL BE A FREE WILL OFFERING.

ESCC Scholarship Car Show

The E.S. Cruisers Car Show will be on campus at Eastern Shore Community College Saturday, August 10th from 10am-2pm with food trucks, music, prizes, and trophies. Proceeds benefit scholarships!  Contact Chester Jackson for details at 757-710-5185!
