Fifty-five-year-old contractor Brian Earl Twiddy, and his wife, real estate agent 54-year-old Cheryl Marie Twiddy, who last lived at Butler’s Bluff, were cleared of wrongdoing connected to the Dec. 9, 2021, events. Charges of advance pay construction fraud and grand larceny were not prosecuted.
The Twiddys have been associated with several companies and LLCs in the Tidewater area and on the Eastern Shore. They include Twiddy Investments LLC, Upper Deck Construction LLC, and Shoreline Homes.
