
Chincoteague, VA — The Chincoteague Island Library is pleased to announce the return of its popular Tales 4 Tots program along with several new community craft groups beginning this season. Tales 4 Tots will resume on January 15 and will continue Thursdays at 10:00 AM, offering children up to age 5 a story time filled with books, songs, and activities that encourage a love of reading and learning.
In addition, the library is expanding its creative offerings with two new needlecraft groups open to all skill levels. Saltwater Stitchers will meet on Thursdays from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and will welcome participants interested in all forms of needlecraft, including knitting, embroidery, cross‑stitch, quilting, and more. Coastal Crocheters will meet on Tuesdays from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM and again on Thursdays from 4:00 to 6:00 PM, providing a relaxed and social setting for crocheters of every experience level.
