CBDG Mortgage/Rent Relief funding only available to 33 small businesses

In an  earlier story on ShoreDailyNews.com, on the uses of $1.2 million in Community Block Grant funds, it was stated that “The grant will help provide rent/mortgage relief, reopening expenses for 33 small businesses and meals and/or PPE for 4170 individuals in need.”

ANPDC Director Elaine Meil said the agency is getting calls from home owners regarding the rent and mortgage relief part of the grant.  Meil stated that just to clarify, the rent and mortgage relief authorized in this CDBG grant applies only to the 33 small businesses  and not to the general public.
