The Virginia State Police is investigating a car fire that occurred in the southbound lane of Rt. 13 in Birdsnest this morning.
Reports came in that the car burst into flames around 8:30 AM.
The Nassawadox Fire Department responded.
Lanes were reopened to traffic on Wednesday afternoon after 3:00 PM.
