Burtons Chapel Church in Melfa robbed

According to Sheriff Todd E. Godwin on November 8, 2019 at approximately 3:02 PM, the Accomack County Sheriff’s Office responded to Burton’s Chapel Independent Methodist Church for a report of a breaking and entering. Upon deputies arrival on the scene, it was determined that sound equipment, televisions, and several other items had been taken from the church.
