Bullet found in Arcadia Middle School Gym

A notice was emailed  to Arcadia Middle School parents Monday that a bullet was discovered in the Gymnasium at Arcadia Middle School. 

The statement read, “the discovery was immediately reported to the administration. All protocols are being followed in collaboration with local law enforcement and nothing else has been reported or discovered.  As always, safety is our top priority.  Students and guests will continue to be checked every day upon entering the building.”

The Accomack County Sheriff’s Department is investigating.

All schools are closed for students today for Election Day.
