According to a report on WAVY.com, a New York man is facing several charges after he led officers on a high speed chase Friday afternoon which began when the Cheriton Police attempted to stop him.
45-year-old Patrick Nilo Gil of New York has been charged with reckless driving, eluding police and two counts of felonious assault. Nilo is being held without bail in a Virginia Beach Jail.
The chase began at Cheriton and ended on the Hampton Roads Bridge Tunnel.
