Anonymous donor offers $25,000 match for Habitat’s February Freeze Celebrity Dipper Jeannette Edwards

Exciting news for this year’s 2025 Celebrity Dipper event: Jeannette Edwards, CEO of Eastern Shore Rural Health, has secured an anonymous donor who has pledged to match up to $25,000 in donations to her dipping team—if the community can raise the same amount by February 22.

With just weeks left before the event, supporters are encouraged to contribute and help Edwards reach the fundraising goal, unlocking the full matching donation. Donations can be made to Team Jeannette by mailing a check payable to ESVA Habitat for Humanity (ATTN: Team Jeannette, PO Box 1299, Exmore, VA 23350) or by donating online.

The Eastern Shore of Virginia Habitat for Humanity works to build safe, affordable housing for families in need, fostering strength, stability, and self-reliance in the community. Contributions toward Team Jeannette will directly support these efforts.
