The AAES offers a comprehensive, four-year program combining virtual and in-person instruction. Students engage in specialized courses such as “Aerospace Engineers of Tomorrow: Building the Future of Flight” and “Data Innovators: Crafting the Future with Code and Analytics,” beginning in the 9th grade. The Academy emphasizes hands-on learning through industry partnerships, allowing students to work on real-world mission design projects.
The flexible learning model includes synchronous and asynchronous classes, enabling students to participate while remaining enrolled at their home schools. Applications are now open for rising 9th-grade students who are Virginia residents with an interest in aerospace and related fields. Applications close on January 31, 2025, with any remaining spots filled on a rolling basis until a cohort of 50 students is reached.
This innovative program offers students a unique opportunity to prepare for future careers in aerospace engineering and data science. Don’t miss the chance to learn more about the AAES at the Virtual Information Night.
