Adopt A Block Distributes Thanksgiving Dinners in Northampton

Adopt-A-Block Northampton, a Christian volunteer organization, delivered about 100 home-cooked Thanksgiving meals plus boxes containing all the ingredients for a wonderful turkey dinner, on Saturday, November 20.

Delicious smoked turkeys and frozen turkeys were donated by Senator Bill DeSteph and his team of volunteers, while greens and sweet potatoes were donated by W.T. Nottingham of Pickett Harbor Farms.

The Myrtle Landing community in Cape Charles was the recipient of the dinners, and local families received the boxed meals.
