Accomack County officials announced that the Board of Supervisors’ final regular meeting of the year will take place off the mainland, with the annual Chincoteague session set for Wednesday, December 17, 2025. The meeting will begin at 5 p.m. at the Chincoteague Volunteer Fire Department, located at 5052 Deep Hole Road.
County leaders traditionally hold one regular meeting each year on Chincoteague, a practice intended to make county government more accessible to island residents. The December meeting is typically the one selected.
Residents who need special accommodations or have questions ahead of the session may contact the County Administrator’s Office at 757-787-5700 or 757-824-5444, or by emailing [email protected]. The full electronic agenda is available through the county’s BoardDocs portal.
For those unable to attend in person, officials confirmed the meeting will be livestreamed.
