Sheriff’s Office identifies one person, seeks public’s help with other two

The Accomack County Sheriff’s Office has identified one of the individuals whose photograph was previously released in connection with the ongoing investigation into the April 19 homicide and shooting at Par 4 and is continuing efforts to identify other individuals who may have information about the incident.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, public assistance helped investigators positively identify and contact one of the individuals pictured in the original release. Authorities said the person was sought because investigators believed she may have been present at Par 4 during the incident and could have information relevant to the case.

Sheriff W. Todd Wessells previously asked for the public’s help in identifying several individuals believed to have been at the scene during the homicide and shooting involving multiple victims.

The Sheriff’s Office emphasized that the individuals depicted in the photographs were not identified as suspects and were being sought solely because investigators believed they may have witnessed events related to the case or possessed information that could assist the investigation.

Investigators are continuing to seek information regarding the identities of the remaining individuals pictured in the released photographs.

The investigation remains ongoing.
