Accomack School Board officially taps Onley as head while interim search continues

The Accomack School Board held a special session Friday to determine next steps.

At the meeting, the School Board voted for Beth Onley, Chief of Operations, to continue to be the division leader.  Karen Taylor will oversee education matters for upper school and Katie Farrell  will oversee elementary school.

School Board Chair Janet Turner says the school board is in the process of seeking an interim Superintendent. Once one is selected, an announcement will be made.
