Accomack County added two additional COVID-19 hospitalizations in Wednesday morning’s report from the Virginia Department of Health and Northampton reported four new cases. All other COVID-19 metrics remained unchanged. The Eastern Shore processed 64 tests in Wednesday’s numbers for a test positive rate of 6.25%.
Virginia added 953 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases Wednesday morning with 79 additional probable cases.
84 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported but probable COVID-19 hospitalizations remained unchanged. The Virginia Hospital and Healthcare Association reports falling current COVID-19 hospitalizations. While confirmed were up by 10, pending test result hospitalizations fell by 52.
Virginia added three additional COVID-19 deaths and probable deaths remained unchanged.
Virginia processed 14,026 tests for a test positive rate of 6.7%.
