The annual Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade in Hawaii features marching bands, classic cars, representations of all branches of the military, dancers, floats, balloons, musicians, performances by cheer teams and much more. This year there were a total of 85 entrants in the Pearl Harbor Memorial Parade held this past Saturday, December 7, 2024.
Thousands of spectators the lined parade route and cheered the parade participants along the mile which took about an hour and a half to navigate. Among the hundreds of participants from across the United States were 10 Cadets in the Junior ROTC program from Accomack County. The trip is not only an honor to be included the parade but it also offers an opportunity for immersing in and learning about history.
Congratulations to our Junior ROTC cadets, you’ve made the Shore proud.
