Ten people were indicted Monday by an Accomack Grand Jury on felony drug charges involving methamphetamine, cocaine, and marijuana.

Thirty-six-year-old Vanessa Saavedra, of Islip Avenue, in Islip, New York, was indicted on counts of distribution of more than five pounds of marijuana, possession of a pound of marijuana, and transportation into Virginia of more than five pounds of marijuana with the intent to sell on April 1, 2025.

According to court records, she was allegedly found to have 12 shipping boxes with an estimated 144 to 180 pounds of marijuana.

Forty-two-year-old Willie Matthews Taylor, of Canvasback Lane in Onancock, was indicted on counts of possession of methamphetamine and possession of a gun while in possession of the drug. He was also charged with misdemeanor counts of possession of a Schedule III drug and carrying a concealed weapon. The incidents are alleged to have occurred on Aug. 1, 2024. He was arrested four days later.

Forty-three-year-old Vasean Maurice Armstrong, of Lankford Highway in Oak Hall, was indicted on Feb. 14 counts of possession with intent to manufacture cocaine, possessing a gun while possessing the drug, possession of a firearm by a felon, and possession of ammunition by a felon. He was charged with the allegations after a search warrant was used at his home. Records state he is a violent felon.

Thirty-seven-year-old Robert William Rappleyea, of Nelsonia Road in Bloxom, was indicted on an April 26 count of possession of methamphetamine. He was also indicted on counts of breaking into Fresh Del. Monte Produce Inc., grand larceny of more than $1,000, and possession of stolen property with the intent to sell between April 12 and 17.

Fifty-year-old Rebecca Ann Kern, of Navigator Lane in Greenbackville, was indicted on a May 5 count of possession of cocaine.

Forty-eight-year-old Christine Godbold, of Nelsonia Road in Nelsonia, was indicted on an April 26 count of possession of methamphetamine.

Twenty-nine-year-old Kimberly Wolfgang, of Main Street in Hallwood, was indicted on an April 27 count of possession of a Schedule I or II drug and a misdemeanor count of unauthorized possession of drug paraphernalia.

Brittany Michelle Stacy, of Pinwheel Lane in Clemmons, N.C., was indicted on a May 9 count of possession of methamphetamine.

Thirty-six-year-old Courtney Danielle Fisher, of Depot Street in New Church, was indicted on a May 3rd count of possession of cocaine.

Forty-four-year-old Patrick Steven Sharbor, of Waples Street in Onancock, was indicted on an April 25 count of possession of methamphetamine.

All of those indicted are presumed innocent until found guilty in a court of law.
