Accident victim transported by helicopter

A victim of an accident that occurred at the intersection of Lankford Highway and Dennis Drive Friday  morning was transported to Sentara Hospital by helicopter.  Parksley Fire Company and the Parksley EMTs responded to the accident that was reported at 8:48 a.m.   One person was reported to be trapped in a vehicle.  The victim was transported to Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital and from there to Sentara Hospital in Norfolk.
