Students graduating from Eastern Shore of Virginia schools in 2025 may apply for scholarships offered by the Academy for Lifetime Learning, an all-volunteer, non-profit group whose members share a common interest in continuing learning experiences and intellectual stimulation.
The Academy, known as ALL, is offering three $1,500 scholarships to defray the expenses at community colleges or universities.
The group’s Betty Ross Nursing Scholarship, named in honor of the founder of the Academy for Lifetime Learning, who passed away in 2014, is open for those entering a nursing program. The other two scholarships are open to any high school graduate.
The deadline to apply is May 1. For more information, contact Mary Kay Mulligan at 757-787-4891 or email [email protected].
