Aerospace Academy of the Eastern Shore Hosts Parent Information Night tonight

Melfa, VA — The Aerospace Academy of the Eastern Shore (AAES) will host a Parent Information Night on Monday, December 8, 2025, from 5:30–6:00 PM, offering families an opportunity to learn more about the Academy as it prepares to welcome its next cohort of students in Fall 2026. The session will be held both in person at Eastern Shore Community College and virtually via Zoom to ensure broad access for families across Accomack and Northampton counties.

AAES is a specialized high school program designed to provide students with rigorous academic pathways and hands-on, industry-connected learning experiences focused on aerospace, aviation, engineering, and emerging technologies. Through partnerships with higher education institutions, regional employers, and industry organizations, students engage in real-world learning that connects classroom instruction to the growing aerospace ecosystem on the Eastern Shore.

The upcoming information session will introduce families to the Academy’s instructional model, highlight the types of experiential learning opportunities students participate in, and outline the enrollment process for the 2026 cohort. Parents and guardians will also have the opportunity to meet members of the AAES team, ask questions, and learn how the Academy supports students as they prepare for postsecondary education and high-demand careers.
