This coming Thursday, January 17 th , the Eastern Shore Community
College Foundation presents an Eastern Shore style Oyster Roast, also
featuring clam chowder, shrimp, fried chicken, beer, soda, wine, and
more. Tickets are just $55 each or $100 for a pair. The proceeds
benefit the Foundations ability to support the efforts of students shore
wide. The mission of the Eastern Shore Community College Foundation
is to make a positive difference in the lives of all Eastern Shore citizens
by helping to provide the best possible learning and teaching
environment. The Foundation is proud to have been impactful in the
success of local students for many years and will continue to do so with
the support of our community and fundraising events such as this.
The event starts at 5pm at the ESCC Workforce Development Center
Great Hall. A limited number of tickets remain and are available at the
college during business hours, or online at es.vccs.edu. The event has
been made possible with sponsorship support provided by Eastern
Shore Rural Health System, Willbanks Smith & Thomas Asset
Management, PNC Bank, Drs. Paul and Betty Bibbins, and Mallards LLC.
Live music will be featured at the event, by way of National Recording
Artists “Town Mountain”. The Ashville, N.C. bluegrass and Americana
band are one of the most popular acts in their genre, and have
garnered critical and commercial acclaim with appearances from the
largest music festivals to the Grand Old Opry.
ESCC thanks you for your support of the Foundation and it’s work, and
we hope you can join us for this Eastern Shore style celebration that
will launch a momentous year for the college in 2019.
