The arrest of a couple charged with stealing wire off of ANEC poles may have solved the crime but it will still cost the Co-op. ANEC Chief Executive Officer Butch Williamson said that it could cost as much as $100,000 to rebuild and repair the damaged to the Co-op’s lines.
Derek Snyder and Amanda Glover Snyder were arrested and charged with the theft of the power lines. They are currently incarcerated in the Accomack County Jail on a $20,000 secured bond.
