Liberty or Death! An Evening with Patrick Henry

Patrick Henry will reenact his famous ‘Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death’ speech of March 23, 1775 on the front steps of historic Ker Place on Friday October 9th at 5:30 pm. Bring your lawn chair or gather around to hear these words that remains a defining call for freedom and personal courage in our 250th year of independence.      Following, we invite you into Ker Place for a Reception to meet Mr. Henry and view Give Me Liberty: Virginia & The Forging of a Nation . An exhibit on loan from The Virginia Museum of History and Culture.  Enjoy colonial music by Ampersand. Refreshments will be available. A $10 donation is requested.
