Estate Planning Workshop Scheduled for August 5 and August 12
Planning for life’s final chapter is one of the most important acts of love we can offer
our families. Without a clear estate plan in place, loved ones may face frozen assets,
court involvement, and emotionally stressful decisions. This workshop will help you
prepare with clarity and confidence. That’s why planning ahead is a profound
expression of love, precision, and commitment to those we care about most.
The Center for Community Family Development will present a two part estate
planning workshop entitles “Best Practices to Avoid Chaos After Death on Tuesday,
August 5th and Tuesday, August 12th at the Eastern Shore Community College in
Melfa, in the Academic Building Room 148 at 6:00pm -8:00pm. Participants may
attend in person or join remotely via Zoom.
This series will equip attendees with the tools to initiate, revise, and implement
critical estate planning actions. Participants will:
– Start the progress for completing and updating their personal estate plan
– Organize important information in a user friendly format
– Learn strategies to assist the guidance on end-of-life decisions and after-death
logistics
– Receive a downloadable workbook and a resource toolkit
The workshop presenter will be Milton Ames, Jr., Retired Certified Financial Planner
from Tucson, Arizona, and proud native of the Eastern Shore.
The cost of this two- part informative and interactive workshop is $10.00 (includes
