Eastern Shore Scholastic Chess Association Tournament

The Eastern Shore Scholastic Chess Association will hold a tournament at the Parksley Library from 9AM-3PM on May 31. It will be a quad format, meaning that players will be placed into groups of four competitors of similar abilities, who will all play each other over three rounds. Some participants may be grouped into Swiss format if necessary. All ages and ability levels welcome.

Cash prizes of $50 will be awarded to the 1st place finisher in each group. Entrance fee is $20 (cash only during registration: 9-9:25 AM). This is a rated tournament, so all participants must have a US Chess Federation membership – sign up at new.uschess.org. If you are not rated, this is your chance to get a rating!
