Eastern Shore Bird Club’s Seaside Birdwatching Boat Tour

FIELD TRIP HIGHLIGHTS: Join Captain Meriwether Payne to get an amazingly close look from the water at the birds of Virginia’s Barrier Islands. Visit the wild, undeveloped lagoons and marshes behind the Islands, home to an abundance of seabirds and shorebirds, including the American oystercatcher, Whimbrel, terns, gulls, and raptors.
WHEN: Tuesday, May 21st
8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. (full)
3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

It is recommended that you be at the boat ramp at least 10 minutes prior to departure.

LOCATION: Meet at Wachapreague, VA. town boat ramp, 32 Atlantic Ave. The Program is $20 per person. Each time slot is limited to 6 participants.
Always be prepared for the sun, bugs, and the weather.
