An Afternoon at Bowman’s Folly

This event was cancelled due to rain las Sunday – now rescheduled for this Saturday October 3 at 2:00 PM

Join Dr. David Scott and Dennis Custis to explore the life and legacy of General John Cropper, one of the Eastern Shore’s most distinguished Revolutionary-era leaders at historic Bowman’s Folly in Accomac.

Prior to the lecture, the Eastern Shore of Virginia chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR), will dedicate and unveil a DAR marker at General John Cropper’s gravesite.

There is a chance of rain showers, so we will provide tents for some shelter. Please bring a lawn chair, consider packing an umbrella, and dress for the outdoor weather.
