75th Anniversary Concrete Fleet

Have you ever seen a WWII Concrete Ship?   Why were they built?  What are they doing in the waters of the Chesapeake Bay?  Join Kiptopeke State Park as we travel through history and celebrate 75 years of the Concrete Fleet.  Learn about the history of the Concrete Fleet and why Kiptopeke State Park is home to 9 of them.  There will be history exhibits along with exhibits and demonstrations from our maritime partners.
