Due to the expected extreme weather conditions, the Mobile Pantry at Bayview Heritage scheduled for Saturday, January 24 has been canceled.

St. Thomas UMC in Clam has canceled Sunday School and Worship Service on Sunday..

Drummondtown Baptist Church will be cancelling services on Sunday, January 25 in anticipation of this weekend’s severe weather forecast.

Mass for St. Peter The Apostle Catholic Church and all other activities are canceled for Sunday, January 25 and Mass for Monday and Tuesday is also canceled.

Guilford Church has canceled its Community Breakfast and worship services for Sunday January 25th

Due to pending weather conditions this weekend, all youth basketball games scheduled for Saturday, January 24, 2026, are canceled. These games will be rescheduled at a later date, and we will share updates as soon as they are available.

Services for Market Street Methodist Church will be canceled for Sunday, January 25 due to the weather.

Due to severe winter weather, Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Onancock has canceled all church services for this Sunday. The Annual Meeting has been postponed until Sunday, February 1st, following a single combined service at 10 a.m.

Accomack County Solid Waste Convenience Centers, North Landfill, South Transfer Station and Sawmill Park to close at 12pm on Saturday, January 24th, and remain closed on Sunday, January 25th due to inclement weather.

Emmanuel Episcopal Church Jenkins Bridge is cancelling Adult Formation and Sunday Worship Services 1/25/26.

All services for Exmore Baptist Church on Sunday, January 25 have been canceled due to the potential winter storm.

Monday Jan. 26

Atlantic, Chincoteague Island, Eastville, Franktown and Onley centers begin seeing patients at 11 a.m. and close at normal time (5 p.m.), except for the Atlantic center, which closes at 8 p.m. Atlantic and Onley Community Pharmacies will open at 11 a.m. and close at normal time (6 p.m.). Express Care will operate on its normal schedule and be open from noon to 8 p.m. Accomack and Northampton County school-based dental units will be closed. We will continue to monitor weather reports and local conditions throughout the weekend.
