Northampton County Public Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay on Sept. 17, 2025, due to weather and road conditions. Because of the delay, breakfast will not be served. All staff should report to their work site 2 hours late. Afternoon employees report at their regularly scheduled time. All classes will dismiss at their regular time. After-school and evening events will continue as scheduled.
Due to Coastal Flooding and Wind Advisory Head Start in Accomack and Northampton County are operating on a two hour delay, Wednesday, September 17, 2025.
Due to weather conditions, the Foodbank’s Mobile Pantry at the African Baptist Church in Cheriton will be cancelled today. Neighbors in need of food can attend the Mobile Pantry that will be held at Myrtle Landing Apartments in Cape Charles on Saturday, Sept 20 from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm.
