Virginia Episcopal church public gatherings for worship continue to be suspended in the Diocese of Southern Virginia until further notice – a time frame which regrettably includes the liturgies for Holy Week and Easter.

Atlantic Baptist Church has canceled all church activity until further notice.

Epworth United Methodist Church, Exmore, has canceled all worship and church activities until April 23rd.

The Virginia United Methodist Church has announced In-person worship services are cancelled at least through April 19, 2020 which includes all Holy Week services. The Council on Finance and Administration has adapted new prioritization for Apportionments during this time. Read this March 26, 2020 update from Bishop Lewis .

Union Baptist Church, Chincoteague, is closed until further notice. Be sure to listen to their live program Sunday at 11 AM on WESR 103.3.

All services at Hollies Baptist Church, 17691 Hollies Church Road in Keller have been cancelled through May 29th, 2020. At that time Sunday School at 9:45 am and Worship Service at 11 am will resume, however, no Pot Luck Lunch will be held on that day. Wednesday night Bible Study and Prayer Meeting will also resume. This schedule will be subject to change if deemed necessary.

Gospel Temple Baptist Church has cancelled all services until further notice.

Due to COVID-19, Bethel AME Church, Onancock, will be closed until further notice. The safety of our neighbors in the community is our first priority.

Hungars Church Music Ministry has cancelled the Michael Stefanek Organ concert scheduled for April 19 due to the current health restrictions on gatherings. Information on future concerts for the 2020 schedule will be forthcoming.

Easter Weekend Information

Hungar’s and Christ Episcopal Church
The Good Friday Service will be held on Friday at noon. Easter Service will be held at 9:30 AM Sunday, with Bruce Gittinger and his trumpet in addition to Kathy Kutz on the organ. Both services will be streamed on the Hungar’s Episcopal Church Facebook Page.
