Chairman Spencer Murray told his fellow supervisors that there are more than 16,000 vehicles in Northampton County and if you reduce that number by 20% to cover farm vehicles which do not get state inspection stickers, the number of vehicles to be inspected in Northampton County is approximately 12,880. Murray reported that Northampton County is now down to 3 inspection stations from 8 previously and that if you do the math it is basically impossible for all of Northampton vehicles to get state inspections based on a 5 day work week.

He informed the public and the other 3 supervisors present that he is going to bring this to the attention of Rob Bloxom and Lynwood Lewis and ask for their assistance even if it meant no inspections which other states have done to eliminate this problem.
