The 6:00 PM update from the National Weather Service Wakefield, VA office still predicts that the entire Eastern Shore should see between 1 – 1.5 inches of total snow accumulations over the next 36 hours. The Eastern Shore from just south of Salisbury east to Ocean City and south to Townsend, Va will see 1 – 1.5 inches of snow in the prediction is correct.

While this isn’t going to be a major snow event, it is still early in the season for the Eastern Shore to see any accumulations. Winter officially begins on Thursday, December 21.
