According to Sheriff Todd Godwin, during the week of November 10, 2017 members of the Accomack County Sheriff’s Department-Criminal Investigations Unit, the Eastern Shore Drug Task Force, Virginia State Police Drug Enforcement Section and the Drug Enforcement Administration-Norfolk Resident Office worked collaboratively on the attempted murder for hire of a testifying witness that was shot Halloween night in Accomack County, Virginia. Felony arrest warrants were obtained for four individuals involved in the planning of the murder as well as overt acts involving the attempted murder.
Multiple arrest warrants and search warrants were executed during the course of the investigation by the above agencies with the assistance of the Virginia State Police Division One and Division Five TAC Teams, Exmore Police Department, Northampton Sheriff’s Office and Virginia State Police Bureau of Field Operations and General Investigations Section. Eleven ounces of cocaine, three firearms and $1785.00 in U S Currency were seized in addition to multiple cell phones and assorted documents in addition to the following arrests:
All subjects are incarcerated in the Accomack County Jail with bond denied.
